    Sacramento, California - A bill by Assemblymember V. Manuel Pérez to support local workforce training grants for former offenders has been signed by the Governor. AB 2060 (Chapter 383, Statutes of 2014) authorizes a competitive grant program to be administered by the California Workforce Investment Board for workforce training and development for the re-entry population.
